At Hudec Dental, we want our patients to feel confident that they are receiving the best care and are treated as our number one priority. We take pride in our caring employees throughout every office, and each month, we choose a “featured employee” to go beyond their titles and to share more about who our employees really are. Our featured employee this month is Betsy Missig who works in our Claims Department at our support office in Brecksville. Enjoy getting to know her!
Betsy grew up in Slavic Village, a Polish area on the south-east side of Cleveland, and graduated from Cleveland Central Catholic High School. She is the youngest of 6 children and has 3 children of her own. Her son and 2 daughters have blessed her with a total 5 grandchildren! Prior to joining the Claims Department at the Brecksville office, Betsy worked as an Office Manager at the Euclid Hudec Dental for 9 years. She worked closely with the team in the Claims Department and, after observing what they did daily, became inspired to pursue the position for herself.
Here at Hudec, what Betsy says she enjoys most is the success that Hudec Dental has had and the endless opportunities it holds for its employees. Her advice to her coworkers and new hires is: “be the best you can be no matter what position because each one of us has a purpose within Hudec Dental.” As a successful business person, Betsy says her greatest achievement is never having called off sick since she was 6 years old. She works hard but she also lives by her favorite quote: “it is what it is” and lives life fully.
In her free time, Betsy enjoys reading, watching movies, spending time with her family, and Betsy LOVES Diet Pepsi. She loves to explore the outdoors and, currently, her favorite travel spot is Maine, but she strives to see much more! She has a hidden talent too! She can write/print backwards with her opposite hand. (Try it! .drah s’tI) Having lived in Cleveland all her life, Betsy loves to sightsee, try new restaurants, and make memories with her loved ones.
