Our featured employee this month is Abby Artino, a Patient Coordinator from our Strongsville office. Enjoy!
Abby Artino grew up in Broadview Heights and recently moved back to the area after living in Cleveland. Abby’s journey at Hudec Dental started out in our Patient Care and Support Center. She heard about the position through her sister Alissa, who now works at our Broadview Heights office. After working in Patient Care for just over a year, Abby was hired on as a Patient Coordinator in our Strongsville office. A typical day for her includes scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and checking patients in and out. Her advice to new hires is to not be afraid to ask questions because that’s the only way you’re going to learn. Her favorite quote is “You have brains in your head, you have feet in your shoes, you can steer yourself in any direction you choose!” – Dr. Seuss
When Abby is not in the office, she enjoys her free time by going to the zoo with her family or finding fun, seasonal activities to do with her son, Liam. When asked about her greatest achievement, she explains that being a good mom to her son is her greatest accomplishment thus far. If she could travel anywhere in the world, she would go somewhere tropical or visit somewhere in Europe. Abby’s favorite thing to do in Cleveland is going to sporting events, but she especially enjoys attending hockey games. A fun fact about Abby is that she has a cat named Elaine Benes named after Elaine from Seinfeld. She is also a huge Lady Gaga fan that can’t live without coffee.
Abby is passionate about making a difference by going above and beyond to care for every patient. “I think the one thing I like most about Hudec Dental is the focus on each patient’s wellbeing and the family-like atmosphere. It almost makes me feel like I’m not at work!”
