This Memorial Day, members of the Hudec Dental team were proud to volunteer alongside NEOPAT (Northeast Ohio Patriots) and Operation Flags of Freedom for the Edgewater Park Memorial Day Flag Display at Edgewater Beach in Cleveland.
Starting bright and early at 9am, volunteers gathered at the Edgewater Beach House located at 7600 Cleveland Memorial Shoreway to help set up approximately 150 American flags along the park’s iconic bike path. The display began near the Edgewater Yacht Club and stretched up the hill toward the Edgewater Pavilion, with volunteers staking rebar into the ground and carefully placing each 3′ x 5′ flag in honor of those who have served.
The event was facilitated by Steve Toohey of Operation Flags of Freedom, with Greg Renkas serving as the NEOPAT lead. It was a meaningful morning filled with community spirit, patriotism, and a shared commitment to honoring our veterans.
We are so grateful for everyone who showed up and gave their time to make this display possible. Events like this remind us why community is at the heart of everything we do at Hudec Dental. We look forward to continuing to serve and give back alongside our neighbors in Northeast Ohio.
