Dr. Ahmad Ghiba grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He is committed to providing patient-centered dental care with a friendly and compassionate approach. Dr. Ghiba specializes in restorative, esthetic, and surgical procedures aimed at enhancing smiles and improving overall oral health. During his time in dental school, he enjoyed volunteering in underserved areas, where he was able to give back to the community. In addition to English, Dr. Ghiba is fluent in Arabic, allowing him to connect with a diverse range of patients.
Dr. Kang graduated from Case Western Reserve University’s Dental School in 2024. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Kang was inspired to become a dentist by shadowing family members and wanting to help people regain their confidence. A member of the ADA, he is fluent in Punjabi and understands Hindi, enabling him to connect with diverse patients. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, cheering for the Detroit Lions and Toronto Raptors, and relaxing in his favorite vacation spot, Mexico. Dr. Kang is passionate about providing the best dental care possible and is committed to being there for his patients.
Dr. Brian Hudec grew up in Northeast Ohio. He studied Biology at the University of Dayton and then went on to graduate in 2017 with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. He also was a General Practice Resident at the Denver Health Hospital in Denver, Colorado from 2017 until 2018 when he joined the Perfect Teeth Dental Practice in June of 2018 as an Associate Dentist. Dr. Hudec then went to open his own practice on Madison Avenue in Lakewood, OH in July of 2019. Brian isn’t new to Hudec Dental, he actually started working with us in his high school years where his interest in dentistry grew through working with his father, John. Brian and his wife Kelley have two dogs, Stark is a Siberian Huskey and Riggins is a rescue dog. Dr. Hudec loves sports and says years have been taken off his life for rooting for the Browns, Cavs, and Indians. He also loves playing golf and skiing.
Dr. Dai graduated from Kunming Medical College Dental School, China in 1986. He completed a five-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program at Kunming Medical College. He obtained his Ph.D from Heidelberg University School of Medicine in Germany in 1999. Dr. Dai graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, licensed in Ohio in 2007.
Dr. John Hudec attended Ohio State University where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He began his practice in 1977 and has been a part of the Cleveland Westside community for many years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Greater Cleveland Dental Society. Dr. Hudec has served on the boards of St. Ignatius High School, St. Martin De Pores High School, Boys Hope Girls Hope, and Catholic Charities. His interests include following Cleveland sports, golf, skiing, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Schween was born and raised in Chesterland, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University and Case Western Reserve University, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in 1992. He was awarded his D.D.S. from the Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in 1996. He was then accepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, a nationally renowned Level 1 Trauma Center. He remained at Metro for two years as a full-time attending surgeon, lecturing to residents and faculty, and supervising extensive surgical cases. He engaged in additional study and examination to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the highest distinction in his field. He is a member of a number of local and national organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Ohio Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Ohio Dental Association, Ohio Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy, American Dental Association, Medina County Medical Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, and past president and officer of the Medina County Dental Association. Dr. Schween enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Maren, and their three children. His hobbies include Top Sportsman drag racing, boating, fishing, and home remodeling. He enjoys cheering on and sponsoring a number of our local sports teams.
