Dr. John Lu grew up in Strongsville, Ohio and he attended Miami University and The Ohio State University for undergrad and continued on at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he received his DDS.
Dr. Lu felt he was naturally good at science and wanted to pursue something where he could use his knowledge to help people. Dentistry seemed to be the perfect fit! His philosophy is to work with his patients to achieve the best outcome for their treatment by using his experience and knowledge to help educate and guide their decisions to obtain the best for their unique situation. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 dogs (Meimei, Lucky and Merrry), learning and experiencing the natural world and watching/discussing all sports (his favorites being the Browns and the Buckeyes)!
One of Dr. Lu’s favorite quotes is “Life is not measured by the number of breathes we take, but by the moments that take our breath away” and his favorite vacation spot is Las Vegas.
Dr. Jin Hee Choi is from Seoul, Korea and attended Soong Sil University where she received her Bachelors of Art in English Literature. She then attended the University of Oklahoma for her Masters of Public Health and then Case Western Reserve University for her Doctors of Dental Medicine. Dr. Choi is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, American Public Health Association, and Dental Association – Alpha & Omega.
Dr. Choi was inspired to become a dentist through her medical mission work where she observed the positive impacts that dentistry can have on a person. She loves her job and loves to spend time with her husband and two children. She is a published author, likes to play golf, and enjoys watching basketball and soccer games.
Dr. Sunny Bae grew up in Seoul, Korea and then moved to the United States when she was 12. She lived in Oregon and Maryland, and finally made it to Cleveland! She attended Case Western Reserve University and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree, attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. She completed her General Practice Residency at Summa Center for Dental Health. In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball (both indoor and outdoor), traveling, and watching Netflix.
